is there any limitation to the daily timeout protection?

I am new to the site, and I am playing against a diamond member who is, in my opinion, abusing the daily protection. A missed deadline or two, ok, but almost every move? Is there no limit to how long they may drag this out?

OP: They can do it until they run out of vacation, and then they flag. I once played a diamond member who didn't move for nearly 3 months in a 3 day/move game before he lost on time. I'm pretty sure he just quit the site (without formally closing his account) but I just had to wait it out. The good news is that auto-timeout protection costs the member 24 hours of vacation time, but the bad news is that diamond members get a lot of vacation time. I think the only way it can be considered abuse is if the person is in a dead lost position and uses vacation to extend the game needlessly, but even then it has to be pretty flagrant.
