i'm amazed he doesn't use an engine. he is probably the only grandmaster in the world who doesn't!
Yeah, Moyuba, I was amazed by that too. For those who didn't watch the video, Ivanchuk says he has a chess database but doesn't use an engine. If he wants something analyzed by an engine every once in a while, he will ask somebody else (his trainer, I think) to do it for him. The man really does not like engines.
Yeah have to say Ivanchuk grew on me about 3-5 years ago. He sticks his nose in those games no matter who his opponent is in the game.
