Knight and Bishop
I've gotten it once in a blitz game in my chess club. But have only been playing for about half a year now.

if that happens to me i would offer a draw as i have no idea how to mate with knight and bishop...well...i cant even properly mate with 2 bishops 🙈
I have never gotten it. But the visualization pattern that is emblazoned into your brain is invaluable in many other positions.
Take a look at best video of K+B+N vs. K on the internet. It is comphensive and well illustrated. It only leaves out the W maneuver for driving the enemy K from the corner square that is the opposite color of the B, to one of the 2 same color square corners as the B.

More than a thousand games and I have only needed to mate with Knight and Bishop once. My opponent did not make me prove it because he resigned.

I have and my coach has taught me a 2 bishop mate and 1 knight and 1 bishop and that would be pretty easy.

I never have had it in an actual game. I learned the N + B mate from Reuben Fine's endgame book years ago and, from time to time, I demonstrated it sucessfully, within 50 moves, for the high school team I coached where they were told their job was to keep their lone K out of a corner with the same color the B traveled on.
How many of you have gotten a knight and bishop vs king in an otb game?
