The funny thing is this was a human playing instead of a computer we would attribute these mistakes to any number of factors: out too late, couldn't take the pressure, broke up with his girlfriend, found a girlfriend, etc. Sometimes the truth is much more mundane. The player was simply in a position that didn't suit their game.
