1.e3 is the second strongest move in all of chess in the short term.
Which means if you only had 1 move to play 1.e3 would be the second most active move in the position behind 1.e4

Not 1...c5(Sicilian Defense) because they believed it was inferior.

I meant to say, what's your rating/play strength? Don't want simple analysis of course(since I am relatively high rated).

@Thomas: i would suggest you to play e4 although its definetely possible to play aggressive with d4 or another first move. After e4 you can play some sharp gambits if you like. Good playable are for example the kingsgambit, the evans gambit, the scotch gambit, the morra gambit against the sicilian or even something like the Danish Gambit. if you are interested in some of those openings, just say.

I was born in sweden and live in Berlin since i'm 6 years old, sherlock. and no, I am not ashamed of telling the truth.

@gunvald: please, can you leave this thread? i honestly dont understand people like you. what is it that motivates this sort of humans? i ask this to myself since i am member on this site. Is it because they are jealous, or because they have low self esteem? i dont know. i am now member on this site since a longer time so when i would have ever cheated, just a single time, i would have been banned long time ago. why do you come into threads where people offer free help and say I cheat just because my rating is above average? would you accuse every GM of cheating when you wouldnt see his title? i hope dude, i really hope, that you change. cheers
Whats up, chess dot com? I thought why not visit this site again after a long time and help some people improve their chess. This thread will be a pure improvement/educational thread for all people who want to get better at chess. I have experience as a coach since 2,5 years and analyse games frequently for my club. I know how hard it is to improve at chess and climb the elo ladder. What I can offer you is the following:
-Complete game review/analysis
-Answers to your chess questions(even if the might seem obvious, just ask)
- Help you build up a full opening repertoire based on your type of play, playing strength etc.
-give you exercises to solve about different topics of the game
Just begin with posting games or questions here or/and send me a message if you want.
