Let's Take a Walk

Fun games! Is Sobernheim a game from the Met League? I believe 1895 was it's first season.
Actually it was an off-hand game played in New York City.

King wanderings are my favourite, they transcend the game and become some sort of weird adventure in which the king learns who he really is and makes ''friends'' along the way... or something like that, I don't really know

Thanks! Shame, but thanks!

use the ''quote'' button that looks like two little '' things on the left of the comment's number (this one is #13 for example)

b, c, g and i is very cool, you don't see those every day. older times of chess always look fascinating to me.
Someone resurrected a thread I had started 4 years ago on Epaulette Mates, a chapter in Irving Chernev's book, "1000 Best Short Games of Chess."
I decided to do another chapter - this one called "King Wanderings." I left out The Ed Lasker-Geo. Thomas because it's so well known.
