Hi @magipi — no, I don’t think anyone hacked anything or switched names.
What I believe happened is this:
On July 4th, I was suddenly logged out of my main account, @kingdasher, which I’ve used for over 15 years. I tried to log back in using my Google account, and instead of taking me back to kingdasher, the system created a new account — this one: @Kellej2 — using the same email address.
Since then:
I’ve been locked out of kingdasher
This new account was created automatically, with no games, no friends
Kingdasher shows as inactive since July 4th, and now also has no friends or games — even though it had many before
Both accounts show the same country (Ireland)
So it seems like the system misfired during login, didn’t link the identity correctly, and now I can’t get back into the real account.
No hacking, no name swap — just a very frustrating technical issue that I haven’t been able to resolve through the bot or normal support channels.
Thanks for asking — it’s a strange one, I agree.
Best regards,
Jerry
Just to point something else out:
Isn’t it strange that both the @kingdasher account and the account I’m using now (@Kellej2) show:
No active games
No friends
And that @kingdasher hasn’t been online since July 4th—the exact date this @Kellej2 account was created?
Both accounts also show the same country—Ireland—which further confirms they’re linked to me. The real account is clearly @kingdasher, which I had been using daily for 15 years, with a Diamond membership, active games, and many friends—all of which are now missing.
This isn’t just a coincidence. It strongly suggests that the system created a new account when I tried to log in, and in doing so, left me locked out of the original.
I hope someone at Support will look at this more closely.
