I think mouseslips occur mostly when you are too focused in the game... try to be less serious and click on the piece and want to move correctly and click on the square too correctly... chess.com could seriously add a takeback button

Click on the piece you want to move and click on the square you want the piece to be moved.

I know the cause.. i was playing while chatting @ the same time playing.. Should turn off all chats while playing...Fortunately his energy levels were low yesterday.. Also i played in a completely dark room lol
