Now as to your question. Lots of folks suck at blitz (myself included). The time pressure gets to them, the kind of pattern recognition that good players have is absent, or they're just old. 
Also not everyone takes advantage of the legal tools available for correspondence play and that inflates the ratings of those who do.
Thanks for the calming words. I will try working on it and see how it goes, although I have played quite a bit of blitz already. The sad thing is that I feel quite underrated in blitz, and I get kind of "desperate" when I play a game, to prove that I'm more than just a 1000 rated player. I don't really think that way, but I think it more happens subcounsciously.
Regarding multiple accounts, I just don't like posting embarassing questions in the forums so that all my friends on here can see. Nothing more than that.

I do the same dharrison when playing correspondence, tend to use nothing. As to O.P., it sounds like you care too much about rating. Blitz and classic chess, are really two different ball games. Im sure if you put true dedication to blitz skills; learning when to premove, when its time crunch throw a random move, having a good mouse, auto queening and just being in the zone might help.
Perhaps your only a 1200 player and your online is heavily inflated and your blitz is closer to your skill level then you may think. Or perhaps it is an anxiety issue.
Just keep working on blitz I guess like you obviously do with online chess and you should improve. Watch Jerry from Chessnetworks warzone bullet games. He has extremely good commentary while playing 1 minute games and that may help you in the thought process area.

Yes, people use databases and analysis boards in correspondence and it is not considered cheap to do so.

Sigh...It's a game with different rules harkening back to the days of postcard correspondence. Some, like myself, use it as "training wheels" chess to try and explore openings and typical middle game strategies. Others are genuinely trying to craft a "perfect" game. And yes, the vast majority of players do take advantage of the legal tools (Books, databases, analysis boards). You of course are free not to use them and there is even a group (Circle of Trust maybe?) whose members all pledge to use nothing but their mind. It's all good...
Hello! On my primary account my blitz rating is around 1000, but in online chess it is 1600, and I have about 1400 in tactics trainer with 3000 solved puzzles. I just wondered how it is possible to suck so badly in blitz? When I look at other people's ratings, there are at least some correlation between their Online Chess and their blitz rating, but not on me. This feels very frustrating, as I feel the blitz rating is the one that matters the most
