Pile of s****.
New Forum Rules

Okay, read them, understand them all. Dont see that much thats new, just expanded a few of them and has told everyone the penilties. I can live with all that.
Hope everyone else can...
So what the problem with them?

Most players are well-behaved here at chess.com I don't play Live Games, though. Lot's of problems there, as far as I can see. Ugly language etc.

They could cut everyone down to only 30 messages a day like they do for invites. Otherwise, not sure how to combat it.

And you think that they shouldn't be allowed to say such things on this site?

I don't know how things were before these 'new' rules(which were actually laid down 5 months ago), but the forums here seem OK to me. You get the occasional jerk, but they seem to either be chased off or deleted by the staff pretty quickly.
I think creating one forum where there is no monitoring was a great idea. Many chess players are socially active, or at least have opinions about the world, and need a place where they can voice their opinions.

Macer; I like you, I'm not trying to argue but, take a good look at that Russian thread. Its completely discusting. Its full of photo-shopped pictures. The only 3 people in there are very childish kids. The're not trolls, because they don't go around to other threads,(thank God). That thread started about 4 months ago by Rooperi. At 1st, it was just a question about why is Putin putting tanks on the border of Crimea. Relevant, topical, and interesting. A lot of people chimed in. After those 3 kids started monopolizing it with the're nonsense and crap, A LOT of people left.
Do you like them? Dislike them? Not care?
What say you all?
