About 7 hours ago, there was a Cloudflare error which caused me to lose my rapid game. When the server went down, it was my turn to move. As a result, I lost 27 elo in rapid. Can I get a rating refund?

No because the site doesn't use Elo. And would you start a petition to remove points you gained due to a network drop?

The Cloudflare error was a worldwide error (check the messages in the chess.com Discord about 19 hours ago).

Contact Support directly using the option in the menu and ask.

I have contacted Support by the option in the menu and by Gmail, but I have not received a rating refund yet.

Proof that I lost the game due to the Cloudflare error can be found in this thread: https://www.chess.com/forum/view/help-support/lost-due-to-500-internal-server-error-rating-refund (I might have leaked some personal info)

Chess.com do use a rating system that is a variation of the Elo rating sytem.

And, anyhow, not getting a rating refund because of that, makes no sense. At all.

Then, next time you ask for a refund of any kind, like money at the supermarket due to a problem with your purchase, let's see how you react if they deny your request for the reason you would not claim for anything (allegedly) if a mistake was done in your favour.

As far as I'm concerned, I do tell the cashier about such mistake, cos I don't want the poor person to have that money removed from their paycheck.

And so, looking at your obnoxious reply, it looks like you're such a bottomhole who would shamelessly deprive a worker at low salary from a part of their income for your benefit.

You may play another several games to gain rating back, no?:)

I want to get a rating refund because some chess.com problems are not fixed for months or even years. I read somewhere that I will not be able to get a rating refund 90 days after the game in question (that was about fair play but I don't know if chess.com would apply the rule to my case).

Also, the rapid game cost me more elo than usual (27 elo) because my rating deviation is high.
