The wall
Pink Floyd
I love The Wall too.
I don't think there are any modern day groups that are as imaginitive & inventive as Floyd were.
Wish you were here. The album, not any of you haha, sorry...bit abrasive. Relics is also pretty awesome. Favorite song, perhaps Time from Dark Side of the Moon
GnrfFrtzl,
I also currently like Ed Sheeran, Meghan Trainor, Hozier......I really love Uptown Funk - Bruno Mars/Mark Ronson.
I have also liked Coldplay, Black Eyed Peas, Maroon5, Jason Mraz, Paloma Faith.
So yes, I am involved in modern day groups.
I don't know, maybe it's just me, but people who worship Pink Floyd are most of the time people who know 30 or 40 albums and that's it. I'm being generous. And when someone says they follow modern music and then mentions Coldplay or BEpeas...
Humm......
I think Dark Side of The Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals, The Wall & Division Bell were the best. Didn't really like The Final Cut though.

Well, one just won the best album grammy....
Flaming Lips. Haven't heard that name in a long time. I went to university with a couple of those guys when they were just starting out. A bunch of grade A1 freaks. But very entertaining.

The Final Cut (bin)
Wish You Were Here...Atom Heart Mother..Meddle...A Momentry Lapse of Reason.....(substitutes bench)

Sorry, nothing to do with chess.
I've just had a session of The Division Bell and wondered how many of you are fellow Floyd fans and what your favourite album is.
