Playing a position against Fritz 15

I want to finish playing out a game that I won by resignation. With Fritz 15, can I set up the final position and play it out against Fritz? If so, how? I know how to set up the position under "Position Set Up", but do not know how to get Fritz to play against me. In this case, Fritz would have the first move. Any advice would be appreciated. Ray

On my ancient Fritz 8, you just click on the menu item "Game --> Move Now".

Pretty simple, no?

I put in the position, but with Fritz 15 I wasn't able to play out the game against Fritz. I'm sure that there must be a way to do it. I would appreciate any suggestions from any Fritz user. Thanks, Ray

i'm sure there is too... on my not quite so ancient Fritz 12, load up the game then move now should work there too... There have obviously been developments in the program since, have you looked at the manual?

I have Fritz 15 and he's how I do it:

1) setup the position. However if you've played the game over internet you can just use Copy-Paste.

2) check in Engine tab that engine is not switched off null

3) when you want engine to make a move click on Move Now

null

4) from here an engine will reply automatically on every your move. If you don't want him to reply at some point (e.g. you need to insert some moves manually) check the  "Switch Off Engine" box from 2)

That works. Thanks for your help.
