It could be something about math or taking a survey for the rarest type of checkmate
maybe a fully dedicated website to chess variants? 
Thank you but I still don't feel inspired. I need more ideas. What are drawbacks of the biggest programs available like PlayChess.com or Chess.com ? What is missing there ?
