How to get profile points on Chess.com?
You just got one! You get them when starting or replying to a post (and blog, I think). They aren't worth anything tangible, unless you want to see how many you can get. I see you already have over 100; you are well on your way . . .

no, but you can get achievements for 1, 1000, and 10,000
I don't want profile points, I want rating points. I've no idea how to earn those! No matter how far up the bot scale I go, my rating stays at 400. I don't even much mind that because I keep winning. Bots seem to enjoy getting cleaned out. I take all the men off the board and CM is easy. (I know, I need to take on much tougher bots.)
Bots under Play > Computer don't change your rating.

you can't get rating off bots, bc they are horribly inaccurate. I would be a 2700 if we could get rating off bots, bc I would farm the crap out Beth Harmon 2700

Not really. If you lose a bunch of games, then you can play against them and win a bunch to boost your confidence. Also there is no record or pressure when playing against them, so you can do whatever you want and not have to worry about losing rating. Playing humans is probably better for improvement though, as IRL you will not face a bot.

I think there are some bots still in Live; some of the numbered Komodo bots, maybe Komodoboss and Stockfish. However, my understanding is that they will eventually be gone.
