How can I play and beat 1400s but I can't win against 1000 rated players?

How is it my opponents in all games get a certain evaluation advantage and then stop playing wise moves? This is not normal human play behavior.

This site is using adaptive bots to play relative to your play. They even have adaptive bots in the bot area.

Hmm. I don't think that you have proof.

The fact that the bot ratings are off from those for real players is not surprising. The bots ratings haven't been adjusting in live chess to reflect their real strength.

And the fact that people blunder after they run through the moves of an opening that they have played many times is also not surprising.

It is a normal result if a player keeps giving their pieces up early or resigning after several moves in most of their games

Right, well, I come here to play chess with humans not bots. And then you get this happen too. They just eat up the clock time and abandon the game. Same thing happened with their previous games.

Another game abandoned.

This isn't anything near proof. In fact it argues against yourself. The bots on this site don't just let the time lapse. That is very human (and unsportsmanlike) behavior.

Why is it so hard for some people to accept that they lose because they screw up?
