Chess, or Ashtapada as it was originally known in India, can be a game of incredible beauty, for beginners just as much as professionals. One can view it as a match of intellectual strength or see a political or military analogy in a clash of armies. But the equal balance of initial conditions between black and white, where neither side will ever win for good due to the interdependence of both parties also mirrors the depths of our psyche. I believe that by meditating on this self-contained and fun game, with or without the aid of psychedelics, one can take the exploration of consciousness and chess to a new level (personally). I wondered what the chess.com community at large may think about this idea, so I am posting this in hope of hearing some of your opinions.
If you want to join my new psychedelic club, it's called "Ashtapadelic Exploration". Looking forward to connect with you in trippy tournaments!
