As chess comes from a non white skin area of the world, your idea is rubbish.

Are you sure? the pieces are completely white or black. Not just its uniform.

My pieces are in Red and white uniforms.

Isn't it racist that white has to move first? Chess shouldn't be such a racist game. The first to move should be the winner of a coin flip

Chess is not a game for the ignorant!  Racism is a form of ignorance.  If the White Chessmen move first and the Black Chessmen move second; please be advised that there are times to wit: Black has the first move!  Sometimes the White King becomes Black and the Black King becomes White!  Note: Sometimes it is Black who has the first move.  Exploiting White's Weakness!  Since Black does not have the first move, we are prone to think of him as being forced onto the defensive role from the very start.  You often hear extreme views expressed about "White's Initiative,"  and  "White's Birthright of the first move."  You can be reassured about Black's chances from the very start.  All the Statistical Analyses we have about the results of games show that Black breaks even or else is very slightly in the red.  In fact, some Modern Theorists, have went to the other extreme and announced that "White's game is in the last throes!"  You have to play the White Chessmen as well as the Black Chessmen to be a Grandmaster!  Chess is not a Racist Game; it is a game of the Intelligent!  Chess.com is the best in the west!

'Best in the West'?!  Isn't that racist, excluding the Third World?

Hey!  White people are not white, they are basically light pink.  Black people are not black, they are brown or dark brown.  So no way it's racist as the colors do not correspond well!

Forkedupagain

I think the black pawns should be able to move backwards just to make up for the racism.

Rockyslide4

I guess it's also racist if a black person gets the black pieces, or is beaten by a white person, or gets the white pieces, or loses on time, or makes an illegal move, or blunders, or...well, just use racism as an excuse for anything in chess (or in life, for that matter) and you'll never lose!

Just change the color of your pieces if you think that colors are rude.

The OP ignores that black moves first in checkers.

But the rule is racist and will remain racist as long as it exists.

What should it be, purple and beige?

El_Principe123

It's sexist too cuz' the queen moves further than the king.

HorribleTomato

Lol but king is the most important. Lose king=Lose game. You said something about sexism?

In my opinion, TRextastic is the smartest one on here.
