Then I guess as part of the antispam campaign, new members do have a delay of some sort before they can start a new thread. We were bombarded by Indian spammers promoting everything from astrology reading to prostitution for many months. Sorry we weren't more sympathetic to your plight, and no, I don't know how long the delay is for.

I cannot find that option. Must I be a member for a period of time before that option is available? In the top right it says HOME and under that is a Search option. nothing about a New Post.

I had a hard time finding it myself after you posted your question. It was such a struggle in fact, I've pretty much ruled out my chances for making grandmaster.

I guess you're screwed too seeing as how chess requires attention to detail and you were unable to see that in message #22 the OP posted a screenshot showing the button is actually not there.
