Science Project Help

Hi,

I am a 14 year old freshman in high school that needs some help with a science project. This experiment is very simple and will take you 15-30 minutes and maybe even less, depending on your skill.

In this experiment, i am working to see what different methods and patterns players use to help them find a checkmate in a game situation. The puzzles are rather easy, but also range for different skilled players.

What i need from you guys, is to just solve 10 puzzles from a website with the URL:

www.becomeawordgameexpert.com/chesspuzzles.htm

Once there i will need you to solve the following puzzles:

Beginner Puzzles: 2, 5, 9

Intermediate Puzzles: 2, 3, 5, 12

Advanced Puzzles: 1, 5, 12

Now, I ask of you to leave a comment and explain any patterns or methods that helped you to complete the puzzle and find the checkmate. If you can, explain for every puzzle. But, if they all had a similar pattern or method, tell me that one. Also in the comment, show the moves taken to complete the puzzle.

MY EMAIL: japratte@gmail.com

Thank you very much. This will help me lots.

PLEASE HELP I need at least 30 people to help me out! So please be a nice person :)

Hello,

ok, I did it for you. You might want to give some more instructions. For example on how they should form and mail you your data.

As an example I consisitently send you my answers in this form:

Easy

No: 117

Keymove: Rxd1

Pattern: Backrankmate, attack on field d1

Extro info: none

If you give no restrictions/instructions you will receive your data in many different formats since we are all different people, also we are from different countries and there is a small languagebarriere

Also 2 questions,

1. would you like to get some extra info? For example there where some puzzles in "Advanced" that I saw instantly, while sometimes i intermediate I had to calculate for a while.

2. Are you going to publish and share your work with us?

On the second advanced puzzle it says that the answer is

1. Nf4 Kh7

2. Bg5 Kh8

3. Ng6+ Kh7

4. Nf8+ Kh8

5. Bf6++ Mate

However 2. Bf8 is also a solution:

C'mon man this isn't reddit

Sorry, I didn't get that remark (I'm a lowly puppet-headed hamster after all).

DrSpudnik

The guinea pig can't get minor piece endings right to save his life.

He also doesn't understand rap.  At all.  And feels uncomfortable about tattooings.

Don't be hatin' on the mousies!
