sending rematch after you win

People have made topics about how rude it is to:
offer a rematch
not offer a rematch
decline a rematch
say gg
don't say gg
etc
I think it boils down to people who get emotional after 1 game can get offended for no good reason. Win or lose, the game had nothing to do with your self worth. Whatever happened just move on to the next game.

Anybody who gets upset over a rematch request belongs to the category of people that casually use words/phrases such as "triggered" and "Safe Space".

Time to setup a "safe place" and issue some crayons and color books.

They might decline it because their angry at themselves for losing such a game that was worth points!

If you get angry over the loss of online rating points, I would suggest never leaving house, as you have bigger issues to deal with.

I wish this topic would die. Most of the time, when someone offers a rematch, it means THEY WANT TO PLAY ANOTHER GAME WITH YOU. Nothing more, nothing less.

I've never really read into it too much myself. Maybe I'm being optimistic but I always think they just find the previous game to be a good match and simply want to play again. I might think that they are rude if the rematch request comes along with a rude comment about how they will destroy me all day or something. Had that before

well turn the table around by accepting the rematch and win .
i wish if you could see his reaction ^+^
i think its rude if he does it that with bad intention

I consider it rude. Here I am licking my wounds, maybe cursing myself for playing so badly, and then here's the popup interrupting those thoughts, essentially saying, "Ha ha, let me beat you again."
If they wait a few seconds before the rematch I'm fine with it, but when it's IMMEDIATELY (especially when it's immediately after a mate that I didn't see coming), then it's just really jarring.

it is rude and cheap. Especially, after a game where you made many blunders. It is like your opponent wants to get the rating points and doesn't care at all to enjoy a good game. Just to take some easy points.

@michaelbluejay: No doubt I speak for the vast majority of members when I thank you for reviving this thread. You've performed an important public service. The membership has been thirsty for a rematch thread. It's astonishing how little attention this important topic has received in these forums. Well done. Keep up the good work!
