Our main ISP is getting hammered with a DDoS attack. This is causing some pageloads to be slow. We hope this can be resolved very soon. Thank you for your patience!

I was wondering what was going on . . . a disgruntled, banned player, perhaps?

Some hackers and kids seem to have nothing better to do these days

Denial-of-service attacks does require skills. Typically, you would hack thousands of computers and use them for the attack

That might explain the problem I've been experiencing.  I get the Chrome message, "This page is trying to load scripts from unauthenticated sources," and oftentimes the page freezes.  I've lost some blitz games recently because of it.  Anyone else getting that message (symbol on right end of Chrome address bar).

Well, my issue isn't resolved.  I'm still getting that Chrome warning.  I've contacted member support about it.

Try a different browser and let chess.com know the results for that browser. That is useful information when support and the development team tries to reproduce and resolve.

Thanks.  I didn't think of that.  I changed browsers.  No problems so far but we'll see.
