Source for master-annotated pgn's?

Does anyone know of a good source for annotated pgn's?  I am hoping to stumble across matches annotated by the players themselves.  Studying the greats definitely has a lot of value, but it would greatly help if I could actually hear the thoughts as the player was making their moves.

I have a few books in my chess library that simulate this concept, such as "The Amateur's Mind" and "Reassess Your Chess", but I would like to be exposed to the "thoughts" of many of the greats by simply roaming a database of pgn's with annotations!

I was hoping to find an online source if possible, basically the equivalent of our game explorer, but with annotations for a subset of them.

Can't say that I've ever heard of the informators, but from the google search I performed, I got some really vauge hits indicating a series of book volumes of sorts.
