That's because you don't comprehend the word. It doesn't mean being rational. It means using nonsense that you think is rational. It means the exact opposite of what you think it means.

Being cheap, self-centered and stupid is a bad, bad combination...if you ever want to attract women.

Mr. Chessstrategist,

That was a rather arrogant post, don't you think?  These forums are supposed to be polite and helpful exchanges between friendly people.

I usually don't get into troll fights but blatantly calling soming arrogant in a forum post seems rather..well - rude. Cool

And calling someone else "cheap, self-centered and stupid" and unable to comprehend the English language is not?

Hey!  Trolls get a bad press.  Sure they live under bridges and try to eat billygoats, but so would you if you had a face not even a mother could love.  I had many hours of gaming fun about 30 years ago playing an early RPG called Tunnels and Trolls so I think its time that the name for an internet heckler got changed to Jackal or something.

On a more serious note, yes when I had the basic account I thirsted for more than the 3 per day tactics but I still appreciated them and felt I got some constructive use from them - its a little mental exercise, not a training programme.  Having said that, although it was not the reason I bought the gold star (wanted to play in another tournament), I was delighted to get the 22 extra tries per day.  I do think it is a feature best left to paying customers though - only with regular income can chess.com continue to provide the amazingly good all round service it does.  Erik, we love you.  Trolls and all.
