Yes, there were some changes in scoring, in particular you won't lose points for getting the right answer but taking too much time. I don't know the specific changes in how the ratings work, but I think the minimum you will get is one point. I don't know if there were changes to the rest of the algorithm or not.
The changes will cause some inflation in comparison to the v2 version but I don't know if you can really call it a problem.

Has anybody else noticed that ever since new chess.com interface gaining rating points on tactics trainer has become much easier? Before that I was struggling to stay above 1700; now I'm easily 1900 and am still rising- currently 1950. I guess the new system penalizes you less for the wrong moves and awards you more for the right ones, and also is more lenient in terms of time.
This is a problem in my opinion (though I'm not still sure whether it exists or I have become miles smarter overnight!) and should be fixed.
