The Art of War, by Sun Tzu

Given that this is 2500 years ago and there are hundreds of different dialects of Chinese, I doubt any of us know how to pronounce his name. They say you can walk from one neighborhood to the next in China and you have to speak a completely different dialect. I don't know anything about Dragon Ball, but if I can bring a little humor to this site, that is my goal. Sometimes I feel like I'm sitting in a room with a bunch of mathematicians who all smell a little moldy. We really need to lighten up after getting so mad playing Chess all day.

Wait a minute. Did I just dis the entire Chess community? Moldy mathematicians? Actually that is my new film project, I accidentally let the cat out of the bag. The Moldy Men. An action pack drama about saving the world with math.

And this is very true. They say "it's pronounced how it's spelled" but then again, only using an anglicized interpretation of his name.

English isn't the only language on Earth folks!

What language do you speak?

Your islands were first inhabited by sailors out of Southeast Asia/ Halmahera/ the Spice Islands/ Sundaland, maybe 30,000 years ago. The same as Madagascar, that whole area wasn't populated by Africans. Which is one of the more interesting parts of history.

You would probably fit right in with the creoles here in the United States.

Your islands were also much larger 30,000 years ago.

Your islands were also much larger 30,000 years ago. Take away 400 feet of water and you can imagine the huge areas that were dry. You were almost connected to Madagascar.

Seychellois creole and English

I can't look up the pronunciation of Sun Tzu in Seychellois Creole; however, I'm pretty sure it's not pronounced that way there either.

Laissez le bon temps rouler. Et toi.

I doubt they said that way In Louisiana

Wrong button. I was referring to Sun Tzu. The pronunciations in New Orleans are sometimes unfathomable. You really would fit right in. I just hope you are familiar with the ancient ritual of Crawdaddy Consumption, endless parties, dancing, music and too much alcohol.

Creoles, Cajuns and Clifton Chenier.
