Nice puzzles! I enjoyed going through them, however there is a mistake on the 4th last chess board (the puzzle before the "how to use the majority" problems). At move 13, white should play Ka7, not b6+. b6+ leads to a draw if black plays Kb8 instead of Kc8.
the pawn part 2 (Cool and instructive basics pawn trick's)

No, I think it,s correct because after ...Kb8 White simply reply with b7 and the only square for Black is now Kc6 and White simply play after that Ka6 with an easy win.. Thanks for read and comments anyway!

Wow, a great bunch of instructive puzzles, very nice.
In diagrams 8 (the trebuchet zugzwang puzzle) and the 3rd to last puzzle (majority of 1 to 2), I like promoting the g4 move, but I think it's instructional and worth noting in diagram 8 that a tempo saving move like h3 works just as well.
3rd to last (majority of 1 to 2), any pawn move on move 3 wins much more easily.

a bunch of these are pretty silly. 's pretty easy to win with a pawn and a king against a king. not reallya formula. just stay next to your pawn and don't draw at the end.

It's a little more complicated than that. If you aren't in front of the pawn your opponent will win since he can get the opposition. To promote a lone pawn you need to gain a position where you can take the opposition on the rank directly in front of the pawn. If not, you'll draw the game.

Just after I posted that question I figured out how to find it. I quickly posted that I had found it, but obviously I did not click on Submit your comment, which I sometimes forget to do. Thanks for your help anyway. I am learning on how to get around on this site. Those of you that are helpful make this site worthwhile.
And, C_H_E_S_STAR, thanks for posting all of these pawn examples. I can use these to help my friends struggling with such problems, not that I have them all down pat.
