Stronger players would recognise strong play, but, as you are weak, what to do?

Said by a patzer! LOL!

hahaha what a liar. Lyudmil, why don'you make a live stream, or play against chess.com computer using your profile? what a joke. i feel sorry for you. what a sad man

breakingbad12

idk know if he's actually good or not (probably not), it's just sad at this point.

Contempt my @$$, you started that game as white with your pawns already on f4,e4,d4 and you took the comps f7 pawn away. That's not handicapping playing conditions? Are you lobotomized?

Plus the computer evaluations are an absolute joke, swinging by 20 pawns (not centipawns) on a significant proportion of moves.

I was trying to replicate Nakamura's loss with the very same conditions to Komodo.

I thought I would also have very hard time with it, but alas, I won.

Seemingly, I am much stronger than Nakamura, even though you still think the game is bad.,,happy.png

See the final position: you will NEVER see a second one, where Komodo is so desperate, so thrashed and so hopeless. Seemingly, its opponent has been very strong.

But what do you understand from chess positions?

It is not pawns, but centipawns; they always swing like that, even by much larger margins, 50-80cps or even more than a full pawn, even with the very top engines. Chess is simply too complex, even for them.

Look, your book might have some good in it. But it’s natural for anyone to doubt that some random player comes up and claims he can beat Komodo. Again, not trying to disprove you. But it’s a fact. You’ll have a really hard time proving anything about beating the top engines. OK?

Not at all. I am just waiting for much stronger versions of SF and Komodo to appear, to play an official match.

Currently, it would be a walk-over.

Very good observation. Let's see some games of LT against Chess.com SF.

You're hilarious.  Those chess engines are much stronger than any GM but you can beat them easily.  You're trying to sell a chess book.  No doubt it has occurred to you that beating Komodo and Stockfish in official matches would give your book an enormous amount of free publicity.  But you want to wait until much stronger versions of those engines are released.  Perhaps you don't want to embarrass the poor developers by demolishing their current versions.  Of course you'll beat the stronger versions but maybe those matches will be close enough that the developers could say, "We're disappointed in the result of the match but proud that our new version gave the great Lyudmil Tsvetkov a run for his money."

GWTR

Perhaps a match against Life Chess Master Dr. Brian McCarthy, who states he is the 1st Online World Chess Champion (aka @BMcC333 here).

Did not I beat the hell out of you, Mcris?

I won 3 games against your different top engines LIVE ONLINE, did not I.

So why are you ijg-talking then?

True.

When I am in good form(and I mostly never am lately), I am beating SF 10/0 in blitz with fully equal conditions, so I know the match is meaningless.

You can not imagine the power of the human brain.

Do you know what pattern recognition is? I don't have to do any calculation, I just sum up all available positional features, and the best move is evident. Soo easy.

Not a bad idea at all. Panem et circenses.

What a liar. Mods, please lock this thread. He says he can beat Stockfish but gives no proof, and he mocks anyone who question him.

Excuse me, but your games tab is empty. So what games are you talking about?

lfPatriotGames

Assuming he is right and really can beat the worlds best computers, I would think that is more impressive than beating the worlds best human players. Afterall, he did say he is seemingly much stronger than Nakamura. Since most people agree computers are now better than humans at playing chess it seems to me there is no reason to wait for any better competition. If he wants to make a few bucks by selling a book it might make more sense to skip that whole process and instead beat the worlds best computers, accept the fame, glory, boatloads of money, speaking engagements, calls from Guiness World Records, etc. and just call it a day.

breakingbad12

This guy is insane. He joined chess.com on 28 July with the sole purpose to create stupid threads about how to win against Stockfish. And since then he has spent a bunch of time every single day to respond people and lie about himself. He's not normal. I'm not trying to be rude or anything. I'm being quite literal...

I don't see any reason to continue the debate.  The man claims he easily beats Stockfish.  Nobody believes it.  If his claim was true, it would be inconceivable that he would decline to simply play a match against the engine, proving himself right and his many critics wrong.  If his claim is spurious, he is better off being disbelieved than by playing the match and proving his critics right.  Therefore the match will never happen.
