TheMechanicalTurk Bot at chess.com: How strong is The Mechanical Turk?

I played with it and it played at 98 percent accuracy. I am no match with it. It is atlleast 2300 in my mind and level it shows is only relative to how you play. Waste of time to even try defeating it. Unless you are 2500 or more.

The chess.com game review entirely relies on your own strength against an opponent, so if an opponent is 2500 but you play like an 700 then they're only going to get a 'rating' of 1100, even with a 97% accuracy. Based on its style and the comments it makes my guess is that it's Capablanca

Great, ELO gave VIPs who died before he invented the ELO rating scores, and he rated Capablanca the very highest. So, this bot is utterly useless to play against, unless you want to be trashed by the computer at level 2500+.
Isn't the point of giving us new bots the joy of overcoming them with our best play?
Here, below 2500 your best play is the same as your worst play; not gonna win....

The Mech Turk is strong, I estimate it's ELO to be around 2200-2500 relative to the other bots. I'd like to see Hikaru fight this mechanic automaton

Google said that it's elo was 1100, but I think that it is way higher than that, because I can easily beat a 1100 bot, but I can't beat the turk no matter how hard i try

I paired it against the 3430 elo stockfish through the analysis and it played almost flawlessly but was slowly overwhelmed in the endgame. It performed better than most of the other chess.com bots like Magnus and Ding Liren, and it kept playing extremely dry and slow games against stockfish 16. I would estimate it's actual Elo to be around 2800 to 3200 at max.
Thanks for putting in all the work!

It's certainly tough.
I've been able to draw it here and there, but have not been able to beat it. Most of the time, it steadily picks me apart. And I've been able to beat the bots up to the 2500 level.
So I estimate the Turk to be around 2600, or higher ...

Here is one of the games with stockfish playing as white
Two queens; brutal!
Brand new bot. I did a review on it, and Chess.com lamely lists his ELO as 1.
The review gave him 6 book moves, 96,8% accuracy and 1 game ELO estimate of 1100.
I think it's way stronger than 1100. Maybe it's 1770, since he was built in that year?
What do you think about him?
