YOLO, man!
This site has a bunch of members that don't rematch.

You only die twice for those of you who don't know. WHAT THE [Censored-ME, not the MODS] IS YOCOIAG?!?!

Same excuses i keep seeing such as "entitlement" or "ego" regarding rematches. Usually when people have nothing to argue with they go for the obvious excuses, which is true so far here.

Sometimes we make a mountain out of a molehill.

I hope the moles don't mind the renovation noise ...

I don't need any excuse for declining a rematch - I just don't want to play more than one game with same player right away, doesn't matter what was the result or color played in the first game.
You've obviously missed what I've said on previous page so I'll repeat:
Has nothing to do with ego, and alot more to do with fairness of competition by playing with both colors since one color has a significant advantage (based on historical stats).
Every competition has a predefined format. In any single robin tournament, swiss tournament, team match you never play more than one game against same opponent. Are you saying they are all unfair competition?
Format here at chess.com is a sequence of one game challenges. What is so difficult to understand here?

I agree with the OP. So many cowards on this site, its incredible. I dont understand why people cant have the common courtesy to play 1 time with each color. I think it should be required. I ALWAYS offer a rematch, win or lose, unless i have a good reason not to (like being tired or busy). Whats funny about the runners/cowards on the site tho is they sometimes leave and u click to search for another game and you get matched with them again lol.
You need to pay me $1 or a Snicker's bar, in advance, if you want a rematch with me. Not everyone has the time for a rematch. Some people play rapid or blitz during a break at work. Why do people think their opponent is somehow obligated to play two games? And why would you call someone a coward for not meeting your needs to avenge a loss? Oh, right, it's the Internet....

There seems to be many who bleet, scream and plead for a rematch, if they give it some thought (if that is possible with their rather obvious limited reasoning power) there are many ways in which a person may only want to play one game too many to mention here. These quick games are only meant to be regarded as fun so please, please grow up and just enjoy the moment!

Are you sick and tired of sore losers whining about being denied their constitutional right to a rematch? What a stupid question! Of course you are! Is limited time my lifetime? I can wait.
Apparently not since you just posted a joke (albeit not a funny one) on My Rematch Request Was Rejected!
This site has a bunch of cowards that don't have the guts to rematch people. This site should have a mandatory one-game rematch. Then you'd see a lot of these cowards leave this site. Especially in blitz chess. They win by one second and are too scared to rematch. Pathetic.

I once played 14 games against the same person using rematch, maybe because they were all drawn until the last 2, where I won. Here's the kicker: the rating change was +7/-1/-9 for me, so he earned +12 from all those draws, then -14 from the last 2 games and promptly he stopped offering rematch.
Thing about that is that all those games were nice and hard-fought, though many times I spoiled significant advantages.
A chess game is one game until the death. You only live once. You fuck your life up, you failed. Done and over.
