Well played. 1000 rated players leave far fewer pieces hanging than 800 level do. There was a point White's queen should have returned to a4 to defend c6. White should have guarded the pawn on e5 with an f4 pawn, and f4 with g3, freeing up a knight. The white knight should not have jumped on to the black camp. The king could have easy trapped it but failed to. Look before you leap. Later an unguarded knight attacked another knight, which could have captured it but failed to, so both blunders. The last issue by Black trying to promote the e or was it the d pawn was the knight trying to guard the square in front of it but being chased away by the king. Luckily Black had an h pawn too. It was not necessary. The knight could have guarded the square in front of the pawn from the 4th rank.
So I recently played this match and I would like some critique (like where do I need to improve, or what do I need to work on). Im trying to get better but I am still low rated played and won this match and I would like some critique on where you all think I need to improve. Thanks a lot from the US.
