hate it when people leave the game on and go afk when they're losing, makes me wait until the timer runs out...
Time management

actually you should be happy if your opponent chooses to waste time on move 2 or 3. actually some players do not prepare what they want to play on move 2 and 3.
those who waste time on move 2 and 3 are usually those who complain on losing on time.
some players slow themself down intensionally so they do not make automatic moves...and therefore eliminate errors.
actually you could use that minute to make sure that your planned responses to his next move are sound and that you are not missing somthing.
good points

I was at a tournment once, I think it was a state open, where my opponent was black. He was at the game, we shook hands and he got up, I assumed to go to the bathroom. I made my move and pushed the timer. Some time passed, and he was still not back, so I went wandering around the upper boards looking back in the direction of my vacant seat every now and then to see if he returned.
I found him watching some GM game. I stood next to him for a bit and decided to remind him his clock was running.
Given that _I_ ended up losing that game on time, I should have not said anything and just waited to see how long he'd have stood there.

Sorry, i know some people will think i am totally wrong here but i have been playing OTB chess for over 35 years and in my opinion the clock is part of the game you don't owe your opponent anything if he leaves his clock running let it run.

Unless you're the exceptional individual for which getting angry actually makes you play better, I suggest taking all negative opponent behavior here with a grain of salt. If your opponent stalls, just multitask on something else. If your opponent is rude, disable chat. If your opponent aborts on move 1, put or take another seek up there on the board. Life's too short to waste very much of it raging at things you cannot control (i.e., the behavior of someone else, anonymous at that).
I usually play 15 or 20 minutes game + x seconds. When my opponent thinks for 1 minute / move in the opening I go nuts and my game is awful because of the anger. Is it only me?
