Top players who choose unsound openings in blitz
In blitz chess using a weird opening can be very effective, it makes the opponent think if it's a sharp, trappy line, even if it's unsound.
It takes time to figure out why a gift is a sucker move.
Time you ain't got at bullet chess or a 3-5 minute game.
Alive still alive and well, unfortunately
Look at it this way. While she can still talk down to you, she cant block you from this post :-)

I don't know about unsound however he is quite known to play unusual chess openings.
Im just curious... why do you seek to watch unsound openings in chess?
I think you misunderstand: He said he saw normal openings and was wondering if anybody every played weird openings.

Actually 5 minute blitz games provide a lot of time to think and to contemplate your moves. Using unconventional openings in blitz games does nothing to shield you from getting picked apart by a skilled chess player. Just FYI
Who says that our level anyone is a skilled player?
Sometimes I like to watch others playing Live chess. I watch high-rated blitz games (usually 3|0). Normally I see all those popular openings: Ruy Lopez, Sicilian, Queen's gambit, etc.
I wonder if there are high rated (2200+) blitz chess players (or maybe even titled players) who choose unsound or even crazy openings in their games?
If there are any - I would like to follow them and watch their games Do you know of any?
