Have You problems with usual chess(on boards) after computer chess, opponent moves complience,touch-move rule, etc.?

Typically, after you've played enough games OTB it just becomes second nature. At this point I'm as comfortable OTB as I am online. I like both, though but of course prefer playing chess OTB.

I prefer OTB and it was actually the reverse for me where I could not visualize moves on the screen until I changed my theme to 3d Staunton pieces with the wood board. So scientifically it's probably just whatever you're most accustomed to that will lend itself to the best visualization initially.

What about Me, after year on chess.com, I was trying to play OBT and found, that I do not know, how to place chess in start position and other troubles.

Honestly, I've noticed no correlation whatsoever except that playing chess OTB increases both my OTB vision and online vision. Other than that, I haven't noticed anything to worry about when switching back and forth from OTB to online. If anything, it's been conducive to my growth by attacking the learning process from different angles.

I do know that playing long sessions of blitz OTB drastically help your tactics online. Probably more than anything else.

I would like to see an option with penalty for incorrect moves and touch-move rule breaking, it can make comp.chess more serious and closer to OTB and will help to gamer keep him self in form. Thanks a lot to Chess.com crew for excellent job, that You do Smile.
