Unctuous comments like these, from the thread What if Evolution is Right ? --
"Who do you think misapplies evolutionary notions to draw metaphysical conclusions?"
@PW, @Elroch, and @MindWalk, are an amazing pinheaded threesome.
Like 3 pigs in a poke, in their thread designed to bait religious folk.
I hate " I know, right?" I remember when it started, and I thought to myself "why did he agree, then ask for validation for something we both already agree upon?"
"Oh My Gawd !....why in the hell did they cover that up ?" (Nicole on HGTV)
Lol, yes they sure do play that commerial a lot!!
I hate the word Interface. Oooh....I hate just saying it right now in my head. It's used wrongly all the time now. It's like anytime something is getting connected.
....and another one....Queue. I'm not waiting in line....I'm in the queue. What the he*l is that ? Do ppl say this stuff all the time on the Mainland ?
(I'm gonna turn my TV off....that's what's doing it....)
Is not that a typical word in British English? Or should I say English English? This is complicated.
I know. Have you been to Puerto Rico ? They speak a pidgin Spanish ?....that's not Spain Spanish....not even close.
I heard "queue' the other nite from another girl when we were in line to go pee. Bad timing........
Crowded ladies' toilets seem to be universal. I've been only to Mexico. What we speak here is named Castilian Spanish. :)
Like in PR they say "bway no-ch" for buenas noches. Just crazee chop chop.
I go over there sometimes to visit a friend of mine. Old town (San Juan) is soooo fun ! Everything is so vibrant over there....musica y comida....mi amigas divertimas mucha !
Bway noch? That sounds like Spanglish, maybe? Divertimas mucha sounds cute though. :) I guess the Caribe is fun in general. I've only visited Cancun. Anecdote: a Mexican guy happened to be drunk enough to tell me: "you Spaniards came here only to murder, steal and rape". I was drunk enough to answer him: "True. Btw, what's your surname, if may I ask, amigo?" "Quintana" "Quintana! Nice. Well, seems like were your ancestors who came here to murder, steal and rape. Mine remained across the pond to get into trouble with all Europeans". The guy laughed his head off.
Ya know I won't be no stick-figure silicon barbie doll (no, I'm just playing !)....and every inch of this is perfect from the bottom to the top....
....
