Visibly Shaking at the Chess Board

Played a game recently I suffer with this issue over the board chess and on online chess. The issue being extreme performance anxiety like I am shaking as if I was freezing or something and typing this my fingers are typing slow like some aftermath of the game. Even when I am winning I suffer with this issue. It can be compared to before a big game when I used to play basketball for my school. Being that I am shaking it's hard to think clearly and I barely calculated when I know I should not because I am lazy or anything with my calculation I calculate fine on things like puzzles but in an actual game everything gets to me and I can't think clearly. I am afraid if I have this problem I will never reach my full chess potential. Any advice?

I had this issue for the first few years when I didn't understand the chess world though it was not as extreme as yours. Now I don't feel that anxiety. If I lose I lose or else win. I'd say keep playing, someday it will go away automatically when you learn to take loses light heartedly.

Try drinking tea... I recommend green tea while playing... It is very good at easing anxiety...

Gradually expose yourself to longer time controls or more intense situations to build tolerance to anxiety.

Incorporate mindfulness or meditation practices into your routine to stay present and reduce anxiety.
