Magnus is better at both rapid and blitz. They keep separate ratings for each. Oh, wait, ok he's better at all 3 time controls.
WCC tied going into rapid play?

Magnus is higher rated; Anand is better.
I like that.
Again, my gut tells me that ratings are not everything when it comes to match play. Anand has been there before, and knows how to prepare. He said that he has been preparing for the last two months.

I'd bet on Carlsen in a speed games. I don't think a draw the classical games to get to playoffs is a good strategy for Anand.

I have a feeling it won't get that far. Either Carlsen is ready for this level of competition and wins early (not easy, early) or he's not ready and it's over early. Of course I thought the Tampa Bay Bucs had a shot at the playoffs this year, so I know nothing.

Didn't the Bucs fall to the biggest comeback in history?
Predictions?
My gut tells me that Vishy has enough match play experience/defensive resources to keep the championship at a tie going into rapid play.
So, who is better at rapid play? Vishy or Magnus? When Vishy was younger, he was known for being brilliant at speed chess.
