so what are they?

Admins manage the clubs and start club matches...

As for coordinators, I am not sure since that is a new thing. It use to be just super admins and admins.

Well, I know Admins can create and delete news, as well as kick or ban members too I think

I'm pretty sure the coordinators are supposed to work on team matches, but I don't really know what all they'd have to do

Coordinators can organize matches and vote chess, and create live tournaments for that specific club. Admins can do that, invite, ban members/accept members,  and edit the club profile. Super Admins can do all that, plus promote people.

And sadly, any super admin can disable the club, which is bad. So that's why there are usually not many super admins because the leader has to trust those people to take that role.

I'm not sure of the specifics of all of these roles; however, I was a member of a club with 2,500+ members that was in jeopardy of folding because there was only 1 Super Admin and he was about to leave. If a replacement couldn't be found, the club could not continue. The club now has 2 Super Admins and still exists.

Is that true? I thought only the leaders can disable the club... at least from what I’ve heard

Well, I actually disabled a club as a super admin accidentally instead of leaving. Thankfully, it was inactive and the leader didn't mind.

I know what club that is. I know the club very well yet I'm not in it.

I actually suggested there be coordinator in clubs

talliholic

but, how to promote somone to coordinator?

User422008

This is what a SA can do. They can also manage promotion and demotions, and can kick out members.

Admins can do the following.

both SAs and Admins can edit news posts or forums, and delete notes, comnments, or news posts. They can also delete, lock, and  stick forums.

I suggest you create a "test-club", where you and admins can test the differences..

Not supposively an active club, but a secret lair .. Have been useful to me. 😉
