It was about 60%, but official number is not in, actually that is on the high side historically, here are some links:

Yeah, I agree with urk, Trump was the lesser of evils, the Bushes and the Clintons are the same thing basically, extremely corrupt politicians in it for themselves....throw the country under the bus, we had really bad choices all around this time.

True. Trump is bad but Hilary is worse.

Funny how this post went from Alexandra Kosteniuk to dress code to Trump. A lot of things seem to end up in Trump now.

The system is more evil than any candidate could possibly be. Why limit everything down to 2 choices and then allow the winning party a total monopoly over policy rather than each issue being voted on by the general public?

Corrupt and in it for themselves? Sounds familiar. Trump changed nothing in that regard.

Voter limitation? How about better education systems. Oh wait, damnit, that's going to hell too

The lesser evil? Yeah between #1 and #2 out of everyone alive. I guarantee any random person pulled off the street would be better than any of those corrupt narcissists.

A cabinet filled with CEO's ... No but trumps in it for the working man! What a friggin joke. The country has been scammed

Interesting cheers uni. The voter turnout graph has some funny peaks and troughs. Only around 50% turnout at the time of the great depression, I guess confidence in politicians was eroded.

wow Telestu, I thought you were a liberal??? and you are talking about voter repression???? do you actually believe that non- citizens should not vote too??? Of course the system is designed for that not to be proven.....non-citizens can get licenses in many states and in many states you can vote with just a license...so draw your own conclusions.

I'm for things that make sense. Denying the right to vote may not make sense, or an intelligence test may make sense but lead to bad things in the future. I'm not for whatever a political party happens to think is correct.

No, of course non-citizens should not be allowed to vote. It also makes sense to deport illegal immigrants. And a travel ban for certain nationalities or even religions? I'd be fine with that if it makes sense. The media acts like it's automatically bad without even discussing it (of course Trump's ban is stupid, but a different one might be good).

Another thing that doesn't make sense is Trump believing every illegal vote was cast against him. To him, voter fraud isn't about democracy, it's about his image. He wants to have won as big as possible. By the way one week he was saying it was 3 million. The next he was saying 5. He's obviously just making up numbers. (In fact I'd love for someone to give me a single quote where Trump gives a specific number or percentage that is accurate because even after ~2 years I doubt it exists.)

You ever notice how a lot of people talk out of their ass on the internet without having a clue or any actual knowledge?
OneThousandEightHundred18
Nope. Everything on the Internet is true. Especially trumps tweets.

Bottom line, if Trump has evidence of massive voter fraud, then present it. When asked to do this in interviews it's Trump who starts talking out of his ass.

As I recall he eventually said "look, it's not important . . . " then he pivoted to a related, but separate issue.

llama

Wait, I found it, he said "forget all that" (the millions who supposedly voted for Hillary illegally) and started talking about dead people and illegal immigrants who are registered.

urk
I agree that voter fraud is not a problem but electioneering and rigging is a real problem.

They're delusional, sure, but the wording seems harsh when all they had to do was adhere to a dress code.
