Granted, I'm no Grand Master yet, or anything close for that matter, but I have DEFINITELY seen some improvements in my game since I have started browsing this site.
I've noticed an increased competence on the Tactics Trainer, I've began beating my twin brother more consistently (who was about even with me in skill), and I've noticed that I've started winning more matches against the computer.
Of course, I'm not winning EVERY game, and I'm still making plenty of mistakes, but I do find a small spark of encouragement amidst the various battles lost OR won.
I AM getting better.
