What is chess talent?

WHat does it mean when you have chess talent? 

Obviously people are who are rated 2700+ have a lot of  chess talent.  But why are they so good at chess?  Are they good at pattern recognition or are they able to have fantastic memory?  I don't understand why they are so talented.

Chess calculation must be performed "blindfold."

playing blindfolded does not make you a good player. any expert or above can handle that. I would venture to say most class A players beat "people who like chess" blindfolded.
