Then off you go. Your nom de plume suits you so very well.
What is the point of chess.com?

Why don't you show us a picture of what you look like banana-head?
Come on now... if you were a banana-head, would you want to go around showing people your picture?

Hold on guys. I never suggested that banana-head might be sort of. . . you know, funny looking. I just got a wee-bit curious to see what a real banana-head looks like.
Sorry banana-head.

Raymond Chandler — 'Chess is as elaborate a waste of human intelligence as you can find outside an advertising agency.'
The OP has a point.

Did you know that when chess.com first tried to establish it's own wiki page, it kept getting deleted as not unique enough or not important enough to deserve its own page? I'm not sure of the agenda in play, but it did take a while before chess.com became wikified.

I think it is David vs. Goliath, Wiki is now one of the biggest sites in the world in terms of hits anyways...

No, thie wiki issue predated mushasha by years.
Then maybe at that time chess.com really wasn't notable enough to warrant its own article. The Musacha stuff was from many years ago, so if the issue predated Musacha by years, then it started when chess.com hand't been around for very long.

I found the last sentence real funny. They do such a good job. Go chess, com!
Guess who wrote that

It hadn't been around long, but chess.com was a chess server such as many others that did have their own wiki page.

3 reduces risk of dementia and keep your mind active.
4. Makes people think your intelligent.
5. Has earned me a little bit of money from tournament
6. Has introduced me to some very colourful characters. I meet new people all the time through clubs.
How do you meet people through the clubs? What clubs? I live in a small town, we do not have a good chess club here, but I would like to meet people that like to play chess.
What does chess help you with? Is it fun? It is such a waste of time and money that I rather be at work.
