I'm not lying or cheating, I am just really underrated due to a lot of timeouts in daily chess. Also my rapid rating is almost 1600 and I think daily is higher than rapid. If you check my daily games you will see I am not cheating as I blunder a lot in them. You can also check my history, my peak was 1580 or something in daily before I started to time out a lot.

Just play lots of games yes no cheating thats very petty and a disgrace to chess

Yep that happens sometimes happy.png I've also had the other side of it happen, I once managed to lose a +20 position or so... to a 700. That's what happens when you have 200+ ongoing games.

Yeah it was because I hung a queen I think

once I was up +13 against an FM in rapid. I saw a move, thought "that looks nice", saw that it drops all my advantage, but couldn't find any other move (none were losing, but none were completely winning either). Then, in some sort of spasm, I decided to play the losing move, even though I knew it was the losing move.

I lost.

Lol, hey Ben, no offense, but I think it will take a very long time to get to 1600 if you beat 1600’s now, given that your patience level seems a bit low, I just see that you lost a daily game to an 1150 player, and made a ton of blunders. Your plan will probably not work given that you lose to 1150 guys, and would stand no chance playing 100 games at once against 1500 players or even 1350 noobs like me. Also, not to be a pessimist or anything, but when you press the create new game on daily chess, it matches you up with 900-1250 players, and you gain hardly any rating that way. I would suggest befriending someone on chess.com who has at least a 1750 daily rating (not too hard to obtain.) And then play your 100 games against like 4 or 5 friends who are 1750-2050, and keep that up until you beat them a lot and get a a feel for the style they like play with. Then you should get to 1600 very quickly.

if the NM Smarterchess thing was extremely accurate, my daily would be 2000+ since by blitz is 2002.

Yet I am 1611 uscf, go figure

So you don't live in Iceland?

Quick update. I'm almost 1400, and haven't timed out a game in months. I'm taking more time on my moves now and it seems to be paying off. I just hope I don't flag in 100 games and drop down to 800 again. Progress is slow at the speed I'm playing, but I'm hoping to be at my true level (not sure where, probably 1600-1900?) in a few months time.

I did it happy.png 1600 daily rating
