what is the real meaning of development?.

Ha, ha, what happen dude, are you run out of pictures. Come on...I want more tranquility pictures!!.
developing for the sake of developing is what real fish do. developing all the pieces in some way that they all work together in achieving a clear specific goal/purpose is what improved fish do (some of the time). at least this my sense of it.
Thanks, so, you mean ''purpose is what improved fish do ( some of the time)'' is the meaning of strategic position?.
no. do you not know the meaning of strategy?
It's a plan of action.
right. so if someone states something like "strategically positioned" in the context of chess it means the given pieces are occupying squares from which they are performing specific jobs that are of importance to the players strategy or game plan.
thanks, now I know. So, can you give me an example what would be the strategy of the player, in that specific strategic position occupied by their pieces?.
actually, kuggie merely wanted borgqueen to be stitched to his body so they'd be friends forever.
that's all.
I think I know now what is the answer of my question '' what is the difference between the word ''development'' and the words ''strategic position'', because of the answer of kenpo.
I'm in pages 31 now, reading the link of kuggie that you gave it to me goldendog. I think I know now what should be the answer of borgqueen in his # 17 post question.
borgqueen's answer should be like this:
Because you using strategy to decide where you gonna position your pieces, that's why they called it ''strategic position''. So, what do you think about this goldendog?.

Developement (I think) usually refers to the opening, where you develop pieces and get them out where they control more of the board. Strategic positions are position that control key squares (checkmate threat, weak spot in opponent's defense, etc). Hope this helps!
If it didn't help when I said the same thing (in post #6), what makes you think it's gonna help now?

Having benefited from BQ's experience, I have no opinion and I flee in the opposite direction. This is Skylla and Kharybdis' third brother.

So, your name was Mm40 before huh?. I think your comment was correct, but I think kuggie was asking different question but he can't say it in english fluently, that's why you guys think his wrong. I think his asking why it needs to add the adjective word ''strategic'' in the phrase ''strategic position''?, in his # 17 post. Even myself I can't answer it, maybe you guys can answer his question.
