What is the rough translation from online ratings to OTB ratings?

my cc is around 2200-2300 but im 1800 (laugh)

but I haven't lost rating points since july.

Seeing you play at your last OTB you’re probably somewhere between 2000-2100

I've only played a couple of games in the past two or three years.

So my real strength is around 2500... yes?

A while back I checked that out (the correlation of ratings). I noticed that if u average ur daily rating, ur rapid, & ur blitz (only those 3), it wasn't far from the players stated uscf classic rating.

Edit: These have to be well established ratings though, not after 2 or 3 games or something rediculously low. 

( 2299 + 2140 + 1270 ) / 3 == 1903

rn im 1869 but i doubt my daily will go any higher. This also doesn't work with high end rapid since most people stop playing around 2100-2200 rapid.

Maybe a daily + blitz average or a rapid + blitz average would be interesting. Because daily and rapid tend to be massively inflated for noobs, while blitz is too low... and the reverse tends to be true for higher rated players. So they kind of cancel each other out.

But including both rapid and daily is probably bad.

Hmmm so I did the rating average thing (Although I put my daily at 1532 as it hovers around 1500 most of the time. It’s 1300 rn due to the fact that I resigned most games as I had to many) and mine would be 1690 which sounds pretty accurate tbh

My chess.com (bullet+ blitz+ rapid)= (2241+ 2111+ 2202)/3=2184

My lichess (bullet+ blitz)/2=( 2201+ 2232)/2=2216

Average online rating (chess.com + lichess)/2= 2184+2216= 2200

Conclusion= 2200 online, zero OTB or unrated.

Difference= 2200.😁😆
