Knight

Knights are very dangerous pieces. They are the "outlaws" of the chess board.

Pawns are more IMPORTANT, though.

Pawns are important because you have many pawns ,a troop. Also can transform in a Queen if across the hell but essentially pawn is a warrior exposed working in group. Each soldier can be the best piece suddenly.Yes.Applause to Pawn. Knight is the Animal Soul of Chess in my opinnion and my favorite for herself essence and support power for others pieces.Horse power can unbalance everything. YEE HAW... !

I’ll concede that if used impressively, knights are incredibly underrated pieces that is second to pawn being the best piece… my own preference lies with bishops though

Bishop (B). It's usually the most valuable "minor" piece. For example, in a king + two minor pieces vs. king endgames, two knights can't checkmate, but if at least one of the minor pieces is a bishop, that guarantees a checkmate (if you know how to, that is).
