What's the deal with Sam Sevian?

A recent article on the Chessbase website said, "A GM norm for 13-year old Sam Sevian, despite some complaints from his opponents about his behavior during the game, something he will surely grow out of."

Does anyone know what behavior of Sam Sevian's the GMs were complaining about??

Maybe Sprite was an official sponsor.

That bratty 10 year old in the beating shankland in blitz youtube video?  The one that says "no mean comment on the kid, he's only 10"

Sure, he'll grow out of it... but at only 13 it may last another 10 years lol.

Scottrf

You mean Shahade?

Wonder if it was anything like this?

Mika_Rao

Oh yeah, my bad, forgot the name.  But that's the video I was thinking of, yes.

blitzjoker

Good video.  The kid's a kid, he'll be ok, and is clearly a great chess player. Top marks to Shahade though, a good sport.

Scottrf

Yeah, it was a casual blitz game. He was just having fun.
