Alekhine!
He is simply the best.
Mikhail tal
Alekhine
Kasparov
Spassky
And the list goes on, on the level these guys play though, they understand strategical ideas and positional struggle aswell, they just prefer sharp tactical struggles and usually tried to steer the game that way.
Actually all of them
Those with a very tactical style, maybe : Topalov, Radjabov, Shirov, Dominguez, Karjakin, Mamedyarov, Vachier-Lagrave...
The plain and smple answer is: all of them do. Without an exceptional tactical eye, one can't make the GM title anyhow haha.
Wojo and Tate are known for fiery tactics, as well as every 2500+ player. The problem is that the games that feature GMs vs. Experts aren't published much. Those are the games where you can see deep tactics. When a GM plays a GM, you can see the setup for the tactical shot, but the defense is so good that patzers like us might not even see the threat.
I must agree with the above, though, Alekhine and Tal are wonderful players to check out for tactical wizardry. You can find free databases of them online!
Well Karpov may be an exception, who was once world champion and had a pretty positional style. Not that he didn't make a nice combination once in a while.
Alright, thank you all, I see that not only grandmaster tactics are deeply respected by the fellows of chess.com. So, any more players?
GM gmjoey1 is a real bullet tactician in ches.com and me too. By the way, checkout my thread, http://www.chess.com/forum/view/game-showcase/grand-variation-of-mate
The most tactical today is Nakamura.
Most poitions involve at least some technique or strategy, and he stares at those in total confusion. But wen the game can be decided by a simple 17 move combination, he whips out the moves in a few seconds. Right in his element then.

However, I am not sure all the players at the level of 1400 could do what I have done. Here was the pride of mine, lol

I would like to know which Grandmaster is well known for sharp tactical play. It would also help if a link to a page which provides this information is provided.
