i would say rapid is best to improve chess
Which is the best time control to improve in chess?

I would say blitz as rapid can feel really long for beginners who are new to chess. Espescially online. Bullet is alright as long as you can keep it limited. It does help you when it comes to time pressure, but it can damage your everyday life in chess. Hyper is fine, while Ultra should DEFINETELY not be played too much. 3 l 2 blitz is alright, but I would say its still on the fast side which is why prefer 5 minute the most. I made a blog which can be found here:https://www.chess.com/blog/Phantom_Beast23/was-mikhail-tal-the-goat-of-chess

lol wrong blog I meant this: https://www.chess.com/blog/Phantom_Beast23/what-time-control-should-you-play

15+10 if you're beginner or intermediate... And you can go lower when you become advanced.. Or expert...

Rapid play, although that covers a wide spectrum. Here in the UK there are many one day OTB events where rated 30 minute Rapid play 6 round Swiss tournaments are the norm. It seems to be a good route to improvement because in the first rounds you'll face higher rated opponents where you can pick up tips and strategies which you can then maybe try out on the lower rated players you're paired against in the final rounds. Its also an important part of the learning curve to analyse your games, refine your openings repertoire to reach middle games with positions and pawn structures your comfortable with.
Title says it all, I've been wondering whats the best time control to improve in chess
