I'm thinking that is is Hikaru. Google says so. Yes, not everything Google says is correct, but even chess.com has Hikaru as the top. Magnus is strangely not on chess.com though.
Who is the true speed chess god?????

They played in the chess.com speed championships twice.
Last two years.
Carlsen demolished Hikaru.
It's well known that Carlsen is #1 at every type of chess.

Carlsen? Didn't you hear, he beat some American at rapid to win the world title.
Ok, so he is only equal-first at classical chess (he shares first place with Caruana).

Yes, Magnus is clearly better than Hikaru at bullet and blitz too. He beat him in numerous speed matches over the board and online. He even beat Naka in a Fischer Random match earlier this year. I don't think Hikaru has ever beaten Magnus in a speed match or any time control. And for some reason chess.com keeps removing Carlsen from the blitz and bullet rankings. He's #1 in both.
Hikaru has won a game before lol, it's not like he loses or draws 100% that would be crazy.
And yes, chess.com removes anyone who doesn't play regularly, not just Carlsen.

Carlsen is the world champion, and I think he's the person who deserves it because he's the best.
But after 12 draws, some of which Carlsen was the one running away with the white pieces, and considering their ratings, I think it's fair to say they're equal in classical chess at the moment.

I don't think you understand what the word match means

You said he's never beaten Carlsen "in a speed match or any time control." But he's never played a match with Carlsen at classical time controls, so it sounds like you're saying he's never won at all.

I never said that. Lol. I'm simplely pointing out that when you say he has won a game against Magnus before, of course that's true. But that's not what was talked about, match play is different than one single game.

Of course match play is different, but some people use the word incorrectly, and your odd phrasing made me think you might be one of those people. Carlsen and Naka have never played a match in "real" chess, just speed chess and 960 and stuff like that.

You keep saying that I made the post. DamonevicSmithlov is the one who made the post.

That's probably not true considering Fabiano had more chances of winning than Carlsen in the first 12 rounds
Ok, is Hikaru better than Carlsen at speed chess or the other way around?
